Last summer we planted 3 strawberry plants and had no idea how they would turn out. They multiplied but never bore any fruit. Well in March little white flowers started popping up and now
everyday I am finding more and more red! It is so exciting and even a little strange to think that I have strawberries in my back yard. This could be because I never imagined myself planting anything other than flowers.
We have even been able to eat a few! It's amazing how they really taste different from the ones you buy at the store. yum! Now all I need is some vanilla bean ice cream covered with strawberries on top!
